Meet ASAŞ.

ASAŞ is one of the most remarkable industrial enterprises in Turkey with its 5 state-  of- the- art production facilities in Akyazı, Sakarya region and over 3000 employees and export to over 90 countries. Within the SALIENT project, ASAŞ will lead the manufacturing technology development for the lightweight aluminium alloy. First of all, JMatPro metallurgical simulation program will be used to develop 6xxx aluminium alloy and extrusion die design will be approved with QFORM extrusion simulation program. ASAŞ will devise and implement test methods adapted for the alloy being developed. After DC casting, homogenization and extrusion process, ASAŞ will make a prototype of the %100 aluminium version of the structural part of the crash system and will supply aluminium profiles to the hybrid version. ASAŞ will also support the LCA analysis studies and will work on recycling metals in materials point of view.
