Raquel Ledo Bañobre

Background

Telecommunication Engineer by the University of Vigo, with a Postgraduate Master Degree in Management of Automotive Enterprises and a Degree of Research Proficiency and Advanced Studies.

From 2003 to 2006, she worked in the automotive industry (Development Manager in Prevent, Controller Body-in-White in PSA Peugeot Citroën). She joined CTAG in 2007 as Senior Project Manager and was promoted to Head of the Materials Innovation area from 2016.

Relevant Experience

Besides her extensive experience in the automotive businesses (both within automotive major suppliers and in OEMs), she was directly involved in more than 15 EU projects (7FP, H2020, HEu, Interreg SUDOE and POCTEP). In addition, she was the coordinator of FORTAPE project (H2020-FoF-2014), a project that was awarded with the GALICIA INDUSTRY AWARD 2019 and issued as finalist of CHEMPLAST AWARD 2018 in the category Best Project for Industry. She is also the project coordinator of ALMA (H2020-GV) and SALIENT (HEu).

From 2015, Raquel collaborates with the European Commission in a regular basis as an Expert Evaluator in several H2020 and HEu programmes (SME Instrument, FETOpen, MSCA ITN)
