Etelätär Innovation OÜ is an Estonian technology SME for all things green and collaborative mobility with headquarters in Tallinn (Estonia) and offices in Brussels (Belgium) and La Nucía (Spain).
Etelätär Innovation possesses recognized expertise in e-mobility and smart transport, specialized in the prototyping, piloting and effective market deployment of peer-to-peer crowd-sourced mobility solutions linking data, persons, things, and in particular the Internet of Things (IoT), vehicles and infrastructures.
The design of innovative and unconventional Mobility 3.0 Solutions for the Smart Cities and Transport Systems and Infrastructures of the future effectively gave Etelätär Innovation a wide smart and expertise:
Studying demand and supply of mobility systems and energy grids;
Defining and conducting user's surveys to measure acceptance and capacity;
Deploying and monitoring real-life deployments of smart and electric mobility solutions in living labs;
Elaborating business models and market penetration strategies for successful market uptake;
Proposing strategies to scale-up economies and operations;
Communication & dissemination of road transport research results.
As an active promotor of smart solutions and e-mobility, Etelätär Innovation is active in the EV business sector as co-Founder and largest shareholder of ALTABATT, a start-up specializing in the commercial second life recycling of EV Batteries (www.altabatt.com).
Etelätär Innovation has participated in 8 EU-funded projects so far and has further completed 19 studies in Europe and worldwide. Using insights from these activities, the company has developed 3 IoT technologies for shared transport networks, which links research & development activities directly with the commercial market.
